Hallmark Thorntons deliveries are sent via Royal Mail & Parcelforce courier service. All items ordered before 12 noon (on Mondays to Fridays except Bank Holidays) will be dispatched the same day, orders received after 12 noon will be dispatched the next working day. Orders received after 12 noon on Friday or on a Saturday / Sunday will be dispatched on Monday (unless it is a Bank Holiday then they will be dispatched on the Tuesday).
The delivery estimate is meant as a guide only and items can arrive earlier.
What do I do if my parcel has not arrived?
If your parcel hasn't arrived within the timescale we suggest that you check with your local sorting office as sometimes the delivery company try to deliver then hold the item at the sorting office if they were unable to deliver. Usually a card is left to advise but sometimes this isn't the case.
If you can't locate the parcel then please get in touch with us by email.
Need to return something?
If the item is really not suitable we will be happy to accept a return as long as we are informed within 7 days of your intentions and the item is sent back to us in its original packing and in a saleable condition within 14 days of receiving it. The cost of the return postage will be at the expense of yourself. It is in your best interest to return goods using recorded delivery because we will not issue refund until goods have been received by ourselves. Refunds will be issued same method as payment. If items are returned damaged or not in a saleable condition we reserve the right not to issue a refund.
If you have received your item damaged please email us along with photographic evidence immediately so we can assess it.
Returns - faulty goods
If you feel that a product is faulty, please advise us immediately. Please follow the same returns procedure as above, but do not return the item to us until we have contacted you about it. We may ask you to send the item back to us. If on inspection we find the goods to be defective, we will refund the purchase cost of the goods and postage to you. We reserve the right to seek the opinion of the manufacturer of the goods or another knowledgeable party, prior to a decision being met if it is not clear that the goods are faulty or have been damaged due to misuse or neglect.

Once on the SagePay system, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign's Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract. The data they hold is extremely secure and they are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remains so.
SagePay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.
No individuals within our company or SagePay are able to decrypt transaction information or cardholder data. Their systems only allow access to our most senior staff and only in extenuating circumstances (such as investigations of Card Fraud by the Police). Your card information is secure even from their own employees because the systems never display the full card numbers, even on administration screens.
